The PDR is dedicated to conducting research in the area of disability. We strive to produce research that advances our understanding of the socioeconomic aspects of disability. As an integral part of the Disability Research Institute, we look to the U.S. Social Security Administration to suggest research topics. We recognize that our value to the Social Security Administration is dependent on our ability to produce sound objective research results based on the evidence and with the use of the most advanced research methods.
